Biography
Born in Dorset, England. I began doing patchwork after the birth of my first son David, I took to it straight away and although I have tried many other forms of craft I have always come back to patchwork.
I moved to Australia in 1990 with my family, which had by now grown to three sons, Tom arrived in 1993 (making that 4 boys)!
I started designing and producing books and patterns for the patchwork and quilting industry in 1995. With the help of my Mum, Ruth we opened our retail store The Patchwork Angel in 1997, after almost ten exciting years in retail I decided that I wanted to focus full time on designing, which I now do from home and I am having such fun.
My books include the very popular Friends for Christmas and my pattern range is constantly growing. These days alongside the patterns for quilts, stitcheries, quick projects like bags and aprons you will find my punchneedle designs.
Interests
My hobbies include collecting fabric, threads and other stuff related to my passion....sewing. I love my family, cycling, walking and reading and our two very helpful cats (helpful because they snuggle up to the computer to keep it warm and whenever possible leave hairs all over my sewing!)
