Tasmanian visit..

Before_we_started

I had the most wonderful day on Saturday at The Quilted Crow's Autumn Gathering where along with Kerry Gillespie from My Favourite Things I was one of their guest tutors. The hall where the event is held had been decorated beautifully by Deirdre and Leonie. Trails of wonderful berry clad vines twined their way amongst bags filled with goodies that had been lovingly decorated with Autumn leaves. Does anyone know what these berries are??

What a wonderful trip...the B & B looked gorgeous. Yummy looking cupcakes :)

Hiiii, I think it's a Glastonbury Thorn. _(You heard it here first!) LOL
All of the berries down here have been really bright and plentiful this autumn, which means it's going to be a cold winter!

hugz,

Lynette

I see my friend was just here... Mamaspark left me an email, saying I must visit this blog. She was right. I feel as though I have come upon a treasure. I find your designs dear and appealing and I was so engaged with your whole blog I couldn't stop scrolling down for more and more and more! Everything is so inspiring and lovely, with doses of *real life*... love Fatcat saying *feh* to poor Hugo! As a mother of 4, sneaking opportunities for creativity, your site and stories are especially inspiring, so thank you. I look forward to coming back.

These berries are hips. Here in Hungary those are very popular because of its vitamin C content. Great for tea and for jam.

Looks like you had a good time lucky you The red berries look like rose hips that my grandma used to make jam with when I was alittle girl in Scotland long time ago LOL.
Hugs Mary,

Oh WOW...what a wonderful weekend you've enjoyed Lynette.... friends, goodies (that would be those yummie cakes...hehe) & loads of wonderful projects to stitch away those glorious hours!!!

have a wonderful day...

hugs
xoxo

Would you sometime post a close up of a punch needle sample?? I would love to see what one looks like!

Lynette sounds like a WONDERFUL weekend! The chocolate looks wonderful, I wish I could tell you what kind of berrys those where, they look a lot like holly berrys to me but I couldn't say for sure.
Wish I could have been at your neeedlepunch demo I have wanted to learn that for a long time.

I really want to come and live in Australia you have such great crafty weekends there, and yummy chocolate cakes too.
The berries look like rose hips to me, I remember using them as a study in my art exam at school many years ago.
Love your blog and all your creations.
