Anyhow a huge 'thank you' to all my loyal LAPC stitchers, I really appeciate that you have not all nagged me about the delay with the final project for this subscription. I hope that you will all love this special project as much as I do, I wanted to create something really special for you and as I love to have things in their place so when I want them I know exactly where they are, so I decide to create this gorgeous accessories case. Inside this little case there is a place for your sandpaper board, a must have when tracing templates. It has pockets for your cutting out scissors, pencils and other handy tools (did you see my little quick un-pick tucked in one of the pockets...not of course that I ever use one!).
I have put a zipper in my sample, its a closed end double slider head to head..... I had to have a crash course in zip types! I have sourced some and hopefully within the next couple of weeks I will have some in the store. If you are scared of zips then a simple tie would be really nice and do the job.
For this project I have enjoyed combining some of the fabrics from Hollyhock Cottage (not yet in stores) with some nice plaids (yarn dyes). We have a limited few advance bundles of Hollyhock Cottage fabrics available, they are in the store here.
News on my arm is not great, I visited the doctor again on wednesday and have stronger pain relief tablets and am to contiue resting it.....hmmm...I am not very good at resting!
