I know, dont tease me...these are not my colours but I have to admit and I think I did admit it at the time...while I was working on the design and stitching the samples for the Tilda magazine that these fabrics did start to grow on me....so when I was trying to decide what else besides my own fabrics and patterns I wanted to sell in my store I thought ...'Tilda'....anyhow in preparation for a few bolts of them arriving...I have started a few different projects...
there are also books to ohh and ahhh at.... there are bundles of sweetly tied Tilda fabrics that Sae has cut, folded and put onto the shelves ready for the 'BIG DAY'... I have had to make some more big decisions, what to make using these bright fabrics??
so, I have done lots of cutting, sewing and pressing....
and as you can see I had some experienced help whilst trying to decide which fabrics to use for the borders on this sweet daisy quilt.
I have also been having fun remembering how to make a doll.....well technically this one is an angel as I have given her some wings! Her clothing is now made and she is wearing them, so this weekend I need to give her a face and some hair.
What are you up to this weekend? By the way the 'BIG DAY' is Monday 23rd July......I sincerely hope that some of you who live close will drop in to say hello and take a peek at my 'Little Quilt Store'.
