This lovely driftwood row of cottages was made by a very talented lady in the UK, Kirsty Elson.
I was very excited when the postman brought a package for me today, I could hardly wait to open it. The contents are made from wood, so it had to be checked by Australian Customs and Quarentine before being allowed to come into the country. The contents exceeded my expectations...
To give you an idea of the size the sweet row of houses is just 11" long and 3 1/2" high and made from driftwood and recycled nails. I love it...and am so happy that I finally decided to buy myself one of these wonderful works of art from Kirsty.
The days are flying past in a blurr and my list of jobs seems to be getting longer not shorter in the build up to Quilt Market which is now only a few weeks away....I hope you are all keeping busy and stitching like crazy too, soon I will have some 'show and tell' but for now its all 'hush hush'
