It all started when I bought this strange shaped vintage suitcase, (10 1/2" deep, 27" long and 13" high) which I hope will be a useful prop perhaps for my next book....yes there is another book in the pipeline but I havent started working on it yet... Anyhow if you have any ideas what the suitcase was made for I would love to know???
Once I opened the lid the cats decided it must be a play area for them and they tell me it smells great....if your a cat that is...
Eventually Fatcat managed to get Felix out of the box so he could explore the inside of it all by himself...hmmm, the quilt hanging here smells good too...so this quilt is what Lynette's mums been stitching on frantically ...she must have a deadline....
Fatcat tried lying down and guess what it is just the right length for a cat to have a sleep in....mind you according to Fatcat it needs a nice soft quilt inside it to make it purrfect!
the quilt....I cant show you yet as I havent quite finished it and I need to write the pattern. The quilt is going to be quilted by a wonderful long arm quilter friend of mine in the US and so the next time I see this quilt will be when I am pinning it up in my booth at Quilt Market in Houston which is just short three weeks away....
Let me know if you think you have an idea for what the suitcase may have been designed to carry.
