Time flies, I have been working with RJR fabrics for almost two years now and I have to say they are truly a lovely company to work with. During my time with them we have created 10 fabric collections which could be found worldwide at your local quilt shop and there are many more fabric collections in the pipeline.....
I felt a huge swell of pride when it was announced that the RJR fabrics booth had won the best booth at Quilt Market in Houston this year.
1000 folded cranes and a lot of folded hearts surrounded the tag line for RJR #quiltwithlove
...each handmade crane was made using a fabric print that had been printed onto paper from a selection of RJR fabrics. If you want to learn how to make a paper crane here is a link to 'how to'.
Rick Cohan was the proud recipient of the best booth award.
My fabrics only arrived 9 days before we left for Quilt Market, thankfully I had made the decision earlier and started to get the stitchery part of some of the designs done on one of my Bread and Butter cream backgrounds. I did have fun fussy cutting these 2" hexagons and elongated hexagons, now I am home will enjoy stitching them together.
Quilt Sherpa and I made a small 'Little Stars' quilt which would make a gorgeous baby quilt or throw for the floor. I sewed, Quilt Sherpa cut, trimmed and pressed - good team work.
RJR fabrics have generously given me 4 of their gorgeous printed bags and 4 charm packs of my ' not to be released until March 2016' fabric collection called 'My Hearts At Home'.
I will be giving two packs away here on my blog and two packs on my Facebook business page (Lynette Anderson Designs). Be sure to leave me a message in both places for maximum chances to win one of these packs :)
For your chance to win a printed #quitlwithlove bag and a 'My Hearts At Home' charm pack leave me a message and tell me what you might like to make with the charm pack?
Congratulations to Lynda and Jacquie, please keep a look out in your inbox for my email.
