If you would like one of Lynette's My Garden pattern and button sets you better get your skates on... we only have a couple left.
Thank you to everyone who listened to me on Pat Sloan's Creative radio show this morning/evening, it was so nice to have you there.
This afternoon I have been busy cutting and packing the kits ready for the workshops in Nantes. I dont usually do kits for my classes as its so much work but the organisers form the show twisted my arm... anyhow the kits look lovely.
I am teaching for two days in Nantes, the first workshop is on Easter Monday and I cant think of a nicer way to spend the day than stitching with a group of like minded ladies. I am looking forward to meeting everyone, last time I checked there were still a couple of places left so be quick if you want to come.
This project is The Potting Shed Journal and pencil case and I will be teaching the workshop both in Nantes, France and in Nebraska, USA.
The second workshop in Nantes is for this Beehive Sewing Book and scissor saver, the beautiful handpainted buttons are included in the kit.
Have I tempted you to come and join me for a day of chatter, stitching and fun? I hope so, here are the contact details.

See you in Nantes, France in about three and a bit weeks time... or at The Quilted Kitty, USA in 4 weeks...
I was very thrilled shaking in my boots with fear when Pat Sloan emailed to invite me to be a guest on her radio show on March 28th. Once the shaking had stopped and I told myself not to be silly about talking live, I said yes please!
I would love it if you were listening, click here at the right time (for your time zone) to listen.
Pat Sloans Creative Talk Network starts at 4pm with Pat's first guest Darlene Zimmerman , then its my turn at approx:-
US listeners, Monday 28th March at 4.30pm (EST)
UK listeners, Monday 28th march at 8pm (forgive me if I have converted the time incorrectly)
Australian listeners, Tuesday 29th 6.30am
If you happen to miss the show, which with all the time zones around the world could be easy! Dont worry the show is recorded so you can always listen later or listen more than once if you want!
Hi everyone...it's Emma here. We have been so busy getting ready for Lynette's trip overseas...packing patterns, gluing buttons and folding fabric (theres still heaps to do).
The 'Summertime Friends' fabric bundles looked so good, that I had to do something sneaky... I managed to sneak some out of the box marked for Nantes and into our online store (shhh don't tell you know who). Don't you just want one...I do!
Don't forget that Lynette will be doing several classes as well as shows when she is overseas. The classes at Petra Prins are full now but there are still places at...(we don't want her to get lonely)

The lovely Conny from The Netherlands sent this picture of her competed Pond House, wonderful vibrant slightly autumnal (love that word) colours and completely handquilted.

bye for now
I am busy preparing a big pile of santa applique bits ready for a new quilt that uses my coming soon (well June ish) to a store near you fabric line... The fabric is beautiful to work with and I am so pleased with the colours and the prints. While I was watching listening to the TV last night I turned all the edges under ready and made a few yoyo's (I know you all love my yoyo's!)
I need lots of santa hats....
Lots of moustaches and beards, which I am cutting from wool so they can be blanket stitch appliqued in place.
Ok, well I had better get back to my studio....there is lots more santa construction required!
Any one stitching 'Stitched By Me'?

The fabrics she is using look great and her stitching is so neat, for a better look at the whole block visit Ghislaine here. Please, if you have time leave her a message so she knows you visited, we all love getting mesages they make our day brighter.
Just look what Mr Postman brought me today......I am so excited...
Yes, my very own shoes with pictures of the blocks from the quilt 'Stitched By Me' on them...
They are so cute and the colours have come out so nicely, the print quality is really good and the shoes are very comfortable... Want your own pair?
Just on case your new to my blog or wanting a refresher about which quilt the pictures on the shoes are from, here is the quilt itself 'Stitched By Me' shown here in the dirty colours. Now I know that quite a few ladies have started working on this quilt and we would love to see some pictures of the blocks as you make them so please send pictures so I can see your quilt as its being made.
If your interested in the pattern set for this 7 part block of the month, remembering that the specially designed buttons, tapemeasure ribbon and paper hexagons needed come with the patterns you can look here Stitched By Me BOM...
